Thinking of Something Unique?

International Women’s Day 2026

“Each time a woman stands up for herself, without knowing it possibly, without claiming it, she stands up for all women.” Maya Angelou

March 8th is International Women’s Day where women all around the world are celebrated for all their social, cultural and political achievements.

The first IWD occurred in 1911 with over a million supporters gathering in support. Today IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere.

This year’s theme calls for action to achieve equal rights, power, and opportunities for all women and girls’.

At BySahana we believe in inspiring and encouraging others to understand the value of inclusion so that future generations can dream big and pursue their passions without limitations. BySahana itself was built on a foundation of passion and pursuing dreams.

Our founder Vaish was inspired by her daughters to launch BySahana to show them that by following your heart and inspirations, you can do amazing things in life.

Join us this International Women’s Day to recognise and celebrate all the inspiring women for a more inclusive and equal society.

What kind of flowers can I send to celebrate?

At BySahana, our florists know how to make a woman feel exceptional. We’ve curated a fine range of flowers including elegant orchids, fresh roses, and beautiful, dried arrangements to make a lasting impression. We deliver across Sydney.

Many events and celebrations during the week of International Women’s Day will incorporate purple and green.

Our flower arrangements can incorporate these rich colours or you can choose other colours to show your gratitude and appreciation.

We also offer personalisation on our flower boxes for you to add your unique touch. Using premium printing vinyl, you can add the name of the extraordinary woman in your life onto the flower box or even just a simple “Thank You” can encapsulate your heartfelt gratitude.

Say a big THANK YOU by adding a gift with Your IWD Flowers

Take the time to express gratitude to the women in your life and let them know they are valued by treating her with something special with her flowers. With touching gifts such as Ecoya candles, diffusers, Cristina Re mugs she will surely feel the love.

International Women’s Day 2024 campaign theme is ‘Inspire Inclusion’
The campaign theme for International Women’s Day 2024 is Inspire Inclusion.

When we inspire others to understand and value women’s inclusion, we forge a better world.

And when women themselves are inspired to be included, there’s a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment.
